Purpose Membership
The Southeast Environmental Management Association (SEMA) is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of providing a forum for the exchange of information pertaining to Environmental Management, Compliance and Restoration and related disciplines such as Waste Management. This emphasis includes the corresponding business development opportunities in the Central Savannah River Area, and encompasses “New Missions” and other such pursuits to maximize the benefit to our members. SEMA was incorporated in the state of South Carolina on June 1, 1995. Membership in SEMA is open to commercial firms, non-profit organizations, individuals and students interested in environmental/waste management; broader and related technical areas; emerging “missions” from new reactors to mixed-oxide fuel to a modern pit facility to hydrogen; and the associated business development opportunities.
Meetings Ethics
SEMA meetings are held bimonthly at locations in the Aiken/Augusta area and feature programs on subjects relating to the principles and practices of environmental management.  Meetings are open to the public, and new members are welcome. SEMA will promote the collective capabilities of member organizations and the technical community. SEMA will not be involved in, nor constitute a forum for, discussion of any member's commercial strategies, contracting terms or marketing initiatives.

SEMA appreciates website support from MSE-Technology Applications Inc.
